DETROIT, MICH. – Clark Hill attorney Reginald Turner, chair of the American Bar Association (ABA) Commission on Racial and Ethnic Diversity, will preside at the ABA’s 24th Annual Minority Counsel Spring Program, May 23-24, in Las Vegas. The conference will highlight the diversity landscape in the private and public sectors, the pipeline for diverse talent in the legal profession, competitive business strategies for diverse lawyers, and best practices to leverage leadership skills.

The Commission consists of a group of committed lawyers who serve as catalysts for creating leadership and economic opportunities for racially and ethnically diverse lawyers. It provides a number of events throughout the year, including the Annual Minority Counsel Program.

Turner is resident in Clark Hill’s Detroit office and a member of the firm’s Executive Committee, its Government Policy Group and its Labor and Employment Group. He is a skilled litigator and lobbyist and regularly counsels clients in negotiation, drafting and administration of labor and employment contracts in the private and public sectors. Turner is a Life Fellow of the American Bar Foundation, an honor reserved to less than 1 percent of lawyers in each state. He is named in The Best Lawyers in America, Super Lawyers® and Crain’s Detroit Business Power Lawyers. Turner is a past president of the National Bar Association and the State Bar of Michigan.
