Employers must negotiate the complexities of these laws when faced with what once were simple questions arising from leave requests and work restrictions. Employers will learn the following: what they can ask an employee about their medical condition and restrictions under all three of these laws; whether the employer needs to accommodate a restriction; whether a part-time accommodation under disability laws can also be FMLA leave; whether disability leave can be FMLA leave, and whether an employee must be given more time off or continue accommodations of part-time work after FMLA leave is exhausted.
Practical, everyday questions will be answered.
