Clark Hill PLC Member Thomas F. Sweeney Recognized in Hour Detroit and dBusiness Magazines For Five Star Wealth Manager Award

BIRMINGHAM, MICH. – Clark Hill member Thomas Sweeney qualified in the top 7 percent of more than 10,600 wealth managers in Michigan to receive the Five Star Wealth Manager Award by Five Star Professional. Nominees were evaluated on 10 objective criteria, including one- and five-year client retention rate, number of client households served, and non-institutional discretionary and/or nondiscretionary client assets administered. Sweeney will be recognized in the June issues of HOUR Detroit and dBusiness magazines.

Sweeney has extensive experience in Federal and State taxation with particular focus on estate and gift taxation, and fiduciary and individual income taxation. He is involved in the planning and administration of revocable and irrevocable trusts, estates, and family limited partnerships and companies and is a member and vice chair of the Council of the Probate and Estate Planning Section of the Michigan Bar Association. Sweeney is an adjunct professor at Wayne State University Law School where he teaches estate and gift taxation.
