Clark Hill PLC Continues to Grow as Five New Additions Join the Chicago Team

CHICAGO, IL – Clark Hill PLC continues to grow with five new additions to the Chicago team. Bankruptcy and Reorganization Attorney Scott N. Schreiber joined Clark Hill as Chicago office bankruptcy leader and a member of the Corporate Restructuring & Bankruptcy Practice Group. Ryan M. Holmes joined Clark Hill as a member of the Personal Legal Services Practice Group, John S. Paniaguas joined Clark Hill as a member of the Intellectual Property Practice Group, Timothy R. Herman is an associate in the firm’s Litigation Practice Group and Pamela J. Leichtling is Senior Counsel in Clark Hill’s Litigation Practice Group.

Schreiber has served as lead counsel to business debtors, creditors, creditors’ committees and equity holders in a wide range of bankruptcy matters, including domestic and international bankruptcy and insolvency proceedings, and out-of-court workouts.

Holmes concentrates his practice on income, gift, generational and estate tax planning. He works on capital gains tax planning in light of the American Taxpayer Relief Act of 2012 (ATRA), estate and trust planning and administration, probate and guardianship administration and probate, trust and guardianship litigation. He also maintains an active corporate and real estate practice, both residential and commercial.

Paniaguas specializes in assisting technology companies with domestic and international strategic intellectual property planning, including domestic and international patent preparation and patent prosecution and licensing. He represents both privately held and publicly traded companies, including start-ups.

Herman’s practice focuses on numerous types of litigation, including commercial litigation, business litigation and employment law. He also has significant experience in professional liability defense, products liability and class action litigation.

Leichtling has over 19 years of experience as a civil trial attorney. She has extensive experience representing a wide range of entities and individuals including financial institutions, small businesses, general contractors, public utilities and governmental agencies in condemnation actions.
