Clark Hill PLC Attorney Jonathan M. Martone Elected for Second Term as a Director of Oakland County Bar Association's New Lawyer Committee

BIRMINGHAM, MICH. – Clark Hill PLC attorney Jonathan Martone was re-elected for a second term as a director of the Oakland County Bar Association’s (OCBA) New Lawyer Committee. Individuals elected to the director position of the OCBA New Lawyer Committee demonstrate commitment and dedication to pursuing the purpose and goals of the committee, which is designed to conduct social and business networking programs for members who have been practicing law for 10 years or fewer. The New Lawyer Committee also fundraises for local charities and participates in community outreach programs. Martone will serve as a director until 2015.

Martone is an associate in Clark Hill’s Litigation Practice Group at the firm’s Birmingham office where he focuses his practice primarily in commercial litigation and white collar defense. In addition to his position as director of the OCBA New Lawyer Committee, Martone is a civil facilitated mediator, certified by the Michigan State Court Administrative Office. He graduated cum laude from Wayne State University Law School.

The OCBA has more than 3,000 members with varying degrees of experience and a wide range of expertise. It provides members continuing legal education seminars, networking, public service opportunities and a variety of committees.
