Clark Hill Attorneys William J. Kohler and Jennifer Woods to present at the International Fasteners Institute
Kohler, a corporate attorney with Clark Hill PLC and former divisional general counsel of a Fortune 100 Company, has extensive international and domestic experience in mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, distribution arrangements, supply arrangements, supplier and customer workouts and bankruptcies, intellectual property arrangements, and general commercial arrangements and corporate matters. He has spoken on a variety of international topics during nearly 30 years of legal practice. He is also the author of a variety of professional articles, including , “Current Risks in Automotive Acquisitions,” “Managing Acquisitions as a Corporate Process,” “Bankruptcy Reorganization in America: Strategies, Dynamics and Law,” and “International Distribution Relationships: Commercial and Legal Perspectives.” Kohler is Co-Chair of Clark Hill’s Automotive & Manufacturing Practice Group. He is also a member of the Michigan District Export Council (subject to confirmation by the U.S. Secretary of Commerce) and a Director and Secretary of the Council of Great Lakes Industries.
Woods is an associate with Clark Hill’s Intellectual Property Group. She concentrates her practice in the area of intellectual property, including trademarks, copyrights, trade secrets, unfair competition, and intellectual property-related antitrust counseling. She has been involved in litigating a variety of intellectual property-related matters, including copyright and trademark infringement, copyright misuse, trade secret misappropriation, unfair competition, and false advertising. She also regularly handles trademark prosecution matters, including opposition and cancellation proceedings before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board.
