CHICAGO, IL – Clark Hill attorneys John L. Hines, Jr., and Patricia M. Sulzbach were joined by several distinguished speakers at the “Can They Really Say That about Me? Protecting Your Online Reputation,” a program covering corporate reputation. The program was hosted by the Association of Corporate Counsel Western Pennsylvania Chapter at The Duquesne Club in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on Tuesday, December 3.

 

 

How can you protect the reputation of corporations and senior management? This program is designed for corporate counsel and other stakeholders charged with managing, controlling and building reputation, including: chief information officers, compliance officers, risk managers, chief technology officers and privacy and communications officers. The program, organized and moderated by Hines, was designed to address the challenges of protecting reputation through legal solutions, content management and communications strategies, best practices corporate governance, insurance and compliance.

is a partner at Clark Hill PLC, where he concentrates his practice in the areas of Internet law and e-commerce, information management, and technology licensing. John regularly counsels clients on privacy and data security compliance, document retention policies and practices, reputation management and social media. Dr. Leslie Gaines-Ross

 

 

is global public relations firm Weber Shandwick’s chief reputation strategist. She is the architect of groundbreaking research into CEO and corporate reputation -- Safeguarding Reputation, Risky Business: Reputations Online, Socializing Your CEO and The Company behind the Brand: In Reputation We Trust. Michael D. Greenberg

 

 

is a senior behavioral scientist at the RAND Corporation, director of the RAND Center for Corporate Ethics and Governance (CCEG) and a professor at the Pardee RAND Graduate School. He is a lawyer and a clinical psychologist by training. Greenberg's work at RAND has included empirical research projects in areas including civil justice, law and business, health care, and national security. He has led or co-led projects at RAND in all of these areas; examples of his work include studies on fair value accounting and systemic risk; medical malpractice litigation and hospital-based patient safety; and the impact of the financial collapse on the civil justice system.
