Clark Hill Attorneys Daniel Bretz, Paul Coughenour and Michael Nowlan to Present at ICLE’s 33rd Annual Labor & Employment Law Institute

DETROIT, MI – Attorneys Daniel Bretz , Paul Coughenour and Michael Nowlan will present at The Institute of Continuing Legal Education’s 33 rd Annual Labor and Employment Law Conference. Both Daniel Bretz and Paul Coughenour are members of Clark Hill’s Labor and Employment group. Michael Nowlan is a member of Clark Hill’s Immigration Practice Group. The two day conference will be held at The Inn at St. John’s in Plymouth, MI.



Mr. Bretz will help kick off the conference Thursday morning with an “EEO Case Law Update” followed by co-presentations of “How the Newest Cases Impact the Operation of HR Departments – The Year in Review” and “’Ask the Experts’ – Get All Your Legal Questions Answered: Extended Q & A Session.” Mr. Coughenour will present “’Good-bye and Good Luck’: Work Force Reduction Issues” which will cover workers adjustment and retraining notification act, labor issues and the duty to bargain, severance programs and older worker benefit protection act. Mr. Nowlan will address the issues of who pays for the visa, foreign exchange issues, pre-employment inquiries, most frequently used temporary worker classications and more with “Hidden Pitfalls When Dealing with International Workers.”
