Clark Hill Attorney Stephanie Rawitt to Present at PBI’s 20th Annual Employment Law Institute – April 24, 2014

Clark Hill Attorney Stephanie K. Rawitt is set to serve as a member of the faculty for a CLE program presented by the Pennsylvania Bar Institute titled “A View Through the Looking Glass: Key Issues in Federal and State Wage and Hour Laws.”

This will be an interactive discussion to brush up on FLSA basics; misclassification litigation; what constitutes “working time;” calculating overtime for non-exempt employees; and a summary of PA wage and hour laws.



The course, part of the two day PBI Employment Law Institute, is scheduled from 12:00 p.m. - 1:15 p.m. on April 24, 2014.

Rawitt is in Clark Hill’s Labor & Employment practice group where she represents a variety of clients including hospitals, public entities, non-profit organizations, private businesses, colleges, universities, and corporations. Rawitt works with Human Resources Departments to create, manage and maintain up-to-date employment policies and procedures to ensure that their companies are in compliance with Federal, State and Local laws. She advises employers on issues concerning statutory compliance with employment laws (such as the ADA, Title VII, the ADEA, FLSA, FMLA, Form I-9 Compliance and state wage laws). As part of her advisory service, Rawitt offers training programs on a full range of employment matters as well as assistance to personnel management on issues related to hiring, performance, assessment, monitoring, investigations, discipline, discharge, workforce reduction programs, affirmative action plans, and risk assessments.
