Clark Hill Attorney Ray J. Koenig III to Present at the 31st Annual Governor’s Conference on Aging – Dec. 13

CHICAGO, IL – Clark Hill Attorney Ray J. Koenig III will present at the 31st Annual Governor’s Conference on Aging. The event is co-sponsored by the Senior Health Insurance Program, the Alzheimer’s Association, and the Illinois Department of Human Services. The event will take place on December 12-14, 2012 at the Sheraton Chicago Hotel and Towers.

Koenig will speak with colleagues from the medical and insurance worlds on “Integrated Approach to Elder Rights.” This session will focus on identifying the multi-disciplinary framework for effectively addressing the multi-faceted needs of elders and their caregivers in the context of comprehensive care.

Illinois has witnessed the unprecedented growth and corresponding needs of the older adult population, and under the stewardship of the department’s directors, our state has risen to the challenges of an aging population. The sessions offered are dedicated to important topics facing our community: mental health, caregiving, public benefits, healthy aging and more.

Koenig is the Managing Member of Clark Hill’s Chicago office and a member in Clark Hill’s Litigation Practice Group. He practices in the areas of probate litigation, trust litigation, fiduciary litigation, elder law, estate planning, and estate administration, with an emphasis on will, trust, guardianship, and advance directive contests and other fiduciary litigation. Koenig has represented individuals, families, financial institutions, medical institutions, and governmental organizations in all areas of his practice. Koenig has extensive trial, appellate and mediation experience in state and federal courts.
