Clark Hill Attorney Nancy Mullett Speaks at 19th Annual MASPA Conference

GRAND RAPIDS, MI – Clark Hill attorney Nancy Mullett spoke at MASPA’s 19 th Annual Personnel Support Staff Conference in Lansing, MI on Wednesday, March 11, 2009. Ms. Mullett addressed the Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), Family Education Rights Privacy Act (FERPA) and Bloodborne Pathogen Standards.

Nancy Mullett is a Senior Attorney in Clark Hill's Grand Rapids office in the Education and Municipal Law Practice Group where she represents schools, cities, townships, villages, and counties on a variety of matters.

Prior to joining Clark Hill, Ms. Mullett served as the Corporation Counsel for Calhoun County where she focused on all aspects of municipal law and served as the chief negotiator for the County’s collective bargaining units. Additionally, Ms. Mullett has expertise in the area of consolidation of E-911 emergency service agencies. Prior to acting as Corporation Counsel, Ms Mullett served as an assistant prosecutor for Calhoun County and as a special assistant attorney general for the Michigan Attorney Generals Office.

Ms. Mullet is actively involved and committed to her community. She serves on the board of several foundation and non-profit agencies and volunteers regularly at various school and community functions. Examples of Ms. Mullett’s community involvement include; Rotary International, Calhoun Health Plan Board, Battle Creek Area Catholic Schools Foundation Board, and Battle Creek Boys and Girls Club.
