Detroit, MI – Clark Hill attorney Mark W. McInerney will present “Avoiding the Pitfalls of OMA and FOIA” at the Fall Conference of the Michigan Council of School Attorneys (MCSA), featuring school law experts who will provide the latest updates and details on complying with school-related laws and court decisions. The Fall Conference will take place on November 10, 2016, at the Detroit Marriott Hotel at the Renaissance Center, in conjunction with the Annual Leadership Conference of the Michigan Association of School Boards. 

McInerney will discuss the obligations of districts and board members under Michigan’s Open Meetings Act and OMA issues of which they should be aware, as well as issues board members may confront under Michigan’s Freedom of Information Act.

McInerney practices in the firm’s Education and Municipal, Labor and Employment, and Litigation Practice Groups, and is located in the Detroit office.
