CHICAGO – Clark Hill Attorney Aurora Abella-Austriaco was honored as one of Today’s Chicago Woman’s “100 Women of Influence.” The list includes women of importance in their fields and to the city of Chicago and features women from diverse groups in various sectors – including finance, government, philanthropy, arts, education, health care, law and more – and highlights both well-known leaders and up-and-coming game-changers.

Austriaco concentrates her practice in the areas of commercial and real estate litigation, construction litigation, mechanic’s liens, mortgage foreclosure, mortgage fraud, title insurance claims and other special chancery remedy cases. Austriaco recently completed her tenure as President of the Chicago Bar Association, one of the oldest and largest metropolitan bar associations in the country with over 22,000 member lawyers, and continues to serve on its Board of Managers and as its Interbar Relations representative. . She serves on the board of the Chicago Bar Foundation and has served on the board of the Center for Conflict Resolution (CCR) for five years and as its vice president for two years. She was elected as the first female and minority president of the Illinois Real Estate Lawyers’ Association (IRELA), an organization of approximately 1,500 real estate lawyers throughout Illinois. Austriaco also served as board member of the Women’s Bar Association of Illinois (WBAI).
