Christopher M. Cahill Joins Clark Hill PLC

BIRMINGHAM, MI – Christopher M. Cahill has joined Clark Hill as a Senior Attorney with the firm's Corporate Restructuring and Bankruptcy practice group. Prior to joining the firm in 2009, Christopher practiced corporate bankruptcy law in Chicago, Illinois with Schwartz Cooper Chartered, Greenberg Traurig, LLP and Kirkland & Ellis LLP.


Christopher has represented diverse parties in interest, including debtors, secured lenders, creditors committees, landlords, and prospective asset purchasers, in chapter 11 cases involving many industries, including paper machine manufacturing, machine tool manufacturing, e-commerce consulting, legal services, modular home materials manufacturing, and single asset real estate management. Christopher has appeared before bankruptcy courts in Chicago, Illinois, Wilmington, Delaware, St. Louis, Missouri, and Fresno, California.


Prior to his legal career, Christopher earned a Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and taught American politics and political philosophy at Kenyon College and the University of Missouri at Columbia.
