Attorneys Thomas P. Brady and Stephanie J. Clifford to Present at Michigan Chamber’s Workplace Violence Seminars
The Michigan Chamber Services are hosting a series of seminars October 3, 9 and 11 from 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
The October 3rd seminar will take place at the Michigan Chamber in Lansing, the October 9th seminar will be hosted by WMU on E. Beltline in Grand Rapids and the October 11th seminar will be at Walsh College in Novi.
Workplace Violence: HR and Safety Practices will cover Understanding the Threat of Workplace Violence, Behavioral Indicators of Violent Individuals, Legal Issues Surrounding Workplace Violence and Creating a Comprehensive Violence Prevention System. Human Resource Professionals, Safety & Facility Managers, Managers & Supervisors and Business Owners & Executives should be in attendance.
Thomas P. Brady is a Member and the co-leader of Clark Hill's Labor & Employment Practice Group. For 25 years, Brady has advised employers in avoiding liability under various federal and state civil rights and employment laws. He has drafted policies and procedures for employers, including policies on handling violent individuals in the workplace.
Stephanie J. Clifford is a Senior Attorney with Clark Hill's Labor and Employment Practice Group. Her practice focuses on employment litigation involving state and federal claims of harassment, retaliation, sex, race, national origin, religious, and disability discrimination. Clifford helps employers create and revise employment handbooks and policies. In addition, she advises employers on employee security and privacy issues, drug testing, EEO compliance and other employment laws.
