DETROIT, MI – Clark Hill Attorney Jennifer Buckley, with assistance from Attorney Ellen Hoeppner, will present “Managing to Wade Through the FMLA, ADA, and Worker’s Disability Act Minefield” on September 23, from 12-1:00 p.m. EDT via webinar.


Buckley will cover how employers must negotiate the complexities of these laws when faced with what were once simple questions arising from leave requests and work restrictions. Webinar attendees will learn the following: what they can ask an employee about their medical condition and restrictions under all three of these laws; whether the employer needs to accommodate a restriction; whether a part-time accommodation under disability laws can also be FMLA leave; whether disability leave can be FMLA leave; and whether an employee must be given more time off or continue accommodations of part-time work after FMLA leave is exhausted. Practical, everyday questions will be answered.
