Some have also been selected by others in the legal profession to serve as lecturers, mediators, and arbitrators; an acknowledgment of their skill and talent.
Members of the tort group have also had their expertise and knowledge recognized through election to membership in several national and international professional and technical organizations including:

Our lawyers combine this expertise with state of the art technology and other resources available in the market place to provide our clients with effective and cost efficient representation.
We maintain an extensive law library, components of which are in a fully computerized format. Members of the tort group stay up-to-date on technical disciplines and jury verdict evaluations as well as risk assessment analyses. Individually maintained technical libraries also provide excellent resources for developing successful trial tactics.
Clark Hill's computer network permits members of the tort group to exchange information instantaneously about opposing counsel, expert witnesses, and opposing parties. It is also an invaluable tool for analyzing, controlling, and preserving the massive quantity of documents typically generated in complex litigation. The tort group also maintains an extensive computerized expert witness index which includes deposition transcripts, resumes, reports, trial transcripts, publications and other background material which is invaluable for the preparation of effective and aggressive cross examination at deposition and trial.
We give serious attention to litigation cost factors. In today's economy, legal and other costs must be contained in ways that do not compromise quality. The tort group works closely with the client to insure that cases are staffed with the best qualified lawyers, and that the client receives the highest quality effective legal services at competitive cost.
An important aspect in containing costs is maintaining the firm's technological competitive edge. Many of the tort group's clients are "on line" in a secure fashion with the attorneys who are handling their matters. This enables our attorneys to communicate with the clients and work on documents simultaneously which increases our effectiveness and underscores our commitment to cost containment.
