Zachary A. Rowley
Zachary A. Rowley is an Associate with the Litigation Practice Group in Clark Hill’s Detroit Office.
Zachary graduated Cum Laude from Wayne State University Law School. While in attendance at Wayne Law, Zachary served as the President of the International Law Students Association. His interest in international corporate law led him to serve as a Legal Intern with Tata Motor’s headquarters in Mumbai, gaining experience with contract drafting and negotiation, as well as multinational regulatory compliance. Zachary also served as a legal extern to the Honorable Judge Thomas L. Ludington in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan.
During his third year at Wayne Law, Zachary was a member and Executive Board Member for the Wayne Law Review and Wayne Law Moot Court, also serving as an alternate to the Wayne Law Moot Court National Competition team. Zachary additionally worked two terms with the Wayne Law Business and Community Law Clinic, gaining experience in corporate and partnership transactions under the direction of Professor Eric Williams.
Prior to law school, Zachary attended Kalamazoo College, receiving a double major in Economics and East Asian Studies. Zachary additionally earned a minor in Chinese language, spending six months in Beijing studying at Capital Normal University and working as a translator and guest on the Chinese Central Television show “Outlook English.”
Originally from Bay City, Michigan, Zachary is a proud Eagle Scout and former member of the Kalamazoo College Hornets football team. In his free time, he enjoys playing rugby with the Detroit Tradesmen, skiing, snowboarding, and spending time on the lake.
