Robert N. Dare
Rob Dare is an associate with the Labor & Employment Practice Group in Clark Hill’s Detroit Office. Rob’s practice focuses on advising employers on a wide variety of employment-related issues and defending employers in litigation before state and federal courts and administrative agencies. He has experience representing employers in claims involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, whistleblowing, family/medical leave, disability accommodations, wage and hour disputes, and breaches of non-compete and non-solicitation agreements. Rob regularly counsels employers on compliance with a full range of federal and state employment statutes, such as Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, the Fair Labor Standards Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, and many others.
Rob received his J.D. from Duquesne University School of Law, where he served as the Executive Editor of the Duquesne Law Review. Upon graduation, he also received the ALI-ABA Scholarship and Leadership Award, which the faculty awards to the student of each graduating class who best represents a combination of scholarship and leadership. For more than three years prior to law school, Rob worked in the business development group at Reed Smith LLP.
