Nathan L. Putney

Paralegal

Nathan is a paralegal and law clerk in the Litigation Practice Group, working out of the San Francisco office.  He has been working as a paralegal since 2011 and has experience handling the defense of matters in multiple practice areas, including general tort liability, products liability, public entity and agency liability, OSHA and ADA, asbestos, and construction defect.  He is experienced in all phases of litigation, case intake through post-trial, in state, federal, and appellate courts. 

Nathan has attended Golden Gate University School of Law since August 2014, while continuing to work full-time.  He expects to complete his J.D. in December 2017.  While in law school, he earned a place on the Dean’s List for all semesters, and was the recipient of CALI Awards for academic excellence in Civil Procedure and Alternative Dispute Resolution.  Nathan was also selected for the university’s Competition Mock Trial program, most recently taking sixth place overall with his team in the American Bar Association’s National Criminal Justice Trial Competition at The John Marshall Law School in Chicago, IL.     

In his spare time, Nathan enjoys camping, hiking, reading, spending time with friends and family, and exploring Northern California with his wife and young son.  He is conversational in Spanish at an intermediate level.
