Hugo A. Gallegos is an associate in the Corporate Practice Group of Clark Hill’s Chicago office.
Hugo graduated from Loyola University Chicago School of Law, earning a certificate in tax law. While in law school, Hugo served as a law clerk for the Illinois Attorney General’s Office in the Consumer Fraud Division and for the United States District Court Northern District of Illinois, in Chicago. He also was Editor-in-Chief of the Loyola Consumer Law Review. Prior to serving as Editor-in-Chief, Hugo published a law review note, which examined the implications of a provision of the JOBS Act that lifted the ban on general advertising and solicitation for private securities offerings.
Prior to attending law school, Hugo worked as a senior project manager for a concrete construction company in Michigan where he managed municipal, state, and federally funded projects of various scopes and sizes.
Hugo earned a Master in Business Administration degree from Michigan State University and an undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan.
