David H. You started his practice prior to law school when he began working as a paralegal for a boutique firm in Los Angeles specializing in personal injury and criminal defense. During law school, he interned for the Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office and the Honorable Judge Robert N. Kwan, bankruptcy judge for the Central District of California. David graduated from the top third of his class in 2011. After law school, David worked as an associate attorney for several local civil defense firms defending a wide variety of cases arising out of commercial general liability insurance policies, including catastrophic injury, wrongful death, as well as construction and design defect claims. David has extensive experience in pleading and discovery issues, taking and defending depositions, law and motion, mediation / arbitration, and trial preparation work.
David was on the Dean's Honor List (2010-2011) at Loyola Law School and was nominated for the American College of Bankruptcy 2011 Distinguished Law Student for the 9th Circuit. He received First Honors Awards in Bankruptcy, Bankruptcy Reorganization, and Busines Planning. At the University of California, he was a member of the Golden Key International Honor Society (2007) and was on the Dean's Honor List (2003-2006).
David is fluent in Korean.
