D. Peter Valiotis is a Senior Attorney in Clark Hill’s Detroit and Washington DC offices, and concentrates his practice in commercial litigation, white collar crime and securities. Peter also has substantial experience representing clients in government investigations, including criminal and regulatory investigations, and internal investigations conducted on behalf of clients.
Prior to joining Clark Hill, Peter practiced at a large multi-national law firm in Washington, D.C., where he represented clients in a myriad of commercial contract, business tort, white collar crime and security disputes in both state and federal courts. During his tenure at that firm, Peter received pro bono awards in 2001 and 2002 for his dedication to the representation of indigent clients, and co-authored, United States v. Falcone: ‘Boundless Expansion’ of the Misappropriation Theory, November 2001, WallStreetLawyer.com.
While in law school, Peter served as a Staff Member on the American University Law Review, and as a Student Attorney in the law school’s Domestic Violence Clinic.
