William B. Dunn is a member at Clark Hill and specializes in real property, secured transactions and related business practice in the Detroit office.

Mr. Dunn is routinely involved in a broad spectrum of sophisticated real estate and commercial transactions.  He works extensively in lending, workouts, leasing, acquisitions and sales as well as development activities.  He serves as counsel for such clients as Metropolitan Life Insurance Company and Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance Company of America, and represents public bodies, developers and end users of real estate. 

Mr. Dunn is a member of the State Bar of Michigan, the American Bar Association, the American College of Real Estate Lawyers, the American College of Mortgage Attorneys, the International Association of Attorneys and Executives in Corporate Real Estate and the Urban Land Institute.  He has served as chair of the American Bar Association's Section of Real Property, Probate and Trust Law.  He is a fellow and a past president of the American College of Real Estate Lawyers and is a past chair of the Real Property Law Section of the State Bar of Michigan.  He is the immediate past Chair of the American Bar Association’s Standing Committee on Ethics and Professional Responsibility, and serves as a member of the State Bar of Michigan's Professional Ethics Committee.

A frequent lecturer at national, regional and statewide seminars and author on real estate and financing transactions and on ethics, he is listed in Best Lawyers in America, Who's Who in the Law, Who's Who in America and Who's Who in the World; Euromoney's Guide to the World's Leading Real Estate Lawyers; Law Business Research, An International Who's Who of Real Estate Lawyers, and Chambers USA America's Leading Business Lawyers.  In 2006, he was named as one of the Top 10 Super Lawyers in Michigan.
