Jean M. Weipert serves as Senior Counsel to Clark Hill’s Business Practice Group, and focuses her practice in the areas of corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, and securities.  Ms. Weipert previously practiced law at Winston & Strawn in Chicago (from 1986 through 1991).  Ms. Weipert was an associate in the corporate department where she gained experience in secured lending, mergers and acquisitions, and general corporate work.

Since re-locating to the metropolitan Detroit area in 1991, Ms. Weipert has served as an active volunteer in the community.  Ms. Weipert was elected to the City of Grosse Pointe City Council in 2001 and was re-elected in 2005.  She serves on the City’s Finance Committee, Parks and Recreation Committee, and Zoning Board of Appeals.
