Clark Hill PLCGary E. GreenMember Areas of Practice Bar Admissions Education Memberships Gary E. Green practices in the Litigation Department and also in the Creditors' Rights and Bankruptcy Department. He has more than 18 years of experience representing financial institutions in foreclosures, receiverships, lender liability, bankruptcy and restructuring. Mr. Green’s experience includes loan documentation, portfolio sales and U.S. Small Business Administration loan programs. He has extensive experience in the equipment lease finance industry, including litigation, bankruptcy, collection policies and procedures, vendor programs, broker-dealer agreements, and sale and purchase of lease portfolios. Mr. Green has years of trial experience in state, federal and bankruptcy courts throughout the country. He has acted as special counsel to Chapter 7 Trustee in a six week trial related to fraudulent conveyance actions in the auto parts resale business. He has prosecuted TROs and Preliminary Injunctions on covenants not compete through successful use of electronic discovery. Mr. Green has substantial experience in the defense of Class Actions involving Consumer Fraud, Fair Debt Collection Act, Fair Credit Reporting Act and Securities Fraud. Mr. Green has lectured on bankruptcy, trial techniques, evidence, settlement negotiations, collection practices, and counseled his clients on the pitfalls of the electronic era in the uses of electronic discovery. He has been awarded the “Illinois Leading Lawyer” in Banking and Financial Institutions Law and Bankruptcy in 2004, 2005, 2006 and 2007. |
