Daniel J. Scully began his legal career in the greater Los Angeles area where the primary focus of his practice was defense of product liability litigation.  Mr. Scully began his legal career in Michigan in 1984.  He joined Clark Hill PLC in 1996, as a partner in the Tort Litigation Group.  Mr. Scully's practice continues to be primarily focused in the defense of product liability litigation.  Mr. Scully presently represents several major manufacturers in courts throughout Michigan, as well as on a national level.  Mr. Scully is the Practice Group Leader of Clark Hill's Litigation Practice Group.

Mr. Scully has tried cases to verdict in fifteen states and has published opinions in the Seventh, Sixth and Eighth Circuits.

Mr. Scully was a member of the faculty at the IADC Trial Academy in 2001.  He was the Assistant Director of the IADC Trial Academy in 2006 and the Director in 2007.  He was a faculty member of the ABA TIPS Trial Academy on two occasions as well.

Mr. Scully is named in the publication The Best Lawyers in America and The Best in U.S.  He is a native of Southern California and a graduate of California State at Long Beach and San Diego.  During his undergraduate career, he competed intercollegiately in football, wrestling and judo.
