Dana L. Abrahams is a member of Clark Hill’s Birmingham office, and concentrates her practice in the areas of education law, real estate law, construction law, computer and technology law, business law, tax law and municipal finance.

Ms. Abrahams has extensive experience representing Michigan school district clients in all aspects of public school law. She represents public school districts, as well as private-sector individuals and entities, in the appraisal, sale, acquisition and lease of real property. In addition, she is experienced in all phases of contracting and other transactional matters, with particular focus on the construction industry.

With respect to computer and technology law, Ms. Abrahams represents Michigan public school districts and private-sector clients in the acquisition and implementation of technology, including contracting with technology designers, consultants, hardware and software vendors. She routinely counsels clients regarding license agreements and agreements relating to the implementation of local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs) and telephone systems.

A frequent lecturer on general public school issues, Ms. Abrahams has presented for both the Michigan School Business Officials and the Michigan Institute for Educational Management.

Ms. Abrahams lives in West Bloomfield with her husband and their two daughters.
