Blair B. Hysni is a member in the firm’s Detroit office, where he practices in the Business Practice Group.  Mr. Hysni’s practice involves advising public and private corporations of all sizes, and across numerous industries, on the full spectrum of business issues, including mergers, acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, incorporation, financing, leasing and contracting.

Mr. Hysni has significant experience counseling closely-held businesses on matters such as strategic planning, entity formation, directors’ duties, shareholder control, buy-sell agreements and relationships with customers, suppliers, lenders, employees and strategic partners.  In addition, he has substantial expertise regarding non-compete agreements and restrictive covenants.

Mr. Hysni has a broad range of experience with transactional counseling as well, representing purchasers, sellers and joint ventures with respect to asset and stock transactions, as well as mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, consolidations and other business combinations.  He is well versed in business planning strategies and structuring of complex business transactions to suit the needs of his clients.

In the corporate finance area, Mr. Hysni represents borrowers in a wide range of financial transactions, including secured and unsecured senior, mezzanine and subordinated debt facilities, and venture capital financings.  He also has experience representing issuers in private securities offerings.
