Alexandra “Sandy” Serdiuk provides support to Robert M. Vercruysse and the firm’s Labor & Employment practice. Sandy was a paralegal with Vercruysse Murray, PC for 20 years, Butzel Long for seven years, and also at Cook Wetzel & Egan in Chicago and Reinhart Boerner in Milwaukee, prior to joining Clark Hill.

Sandy provides litigation support which includes all aspects of discovery including legal research; drafting pleadings; preparing chronologies, subpoenas, and deposition summaries; assisting with witness interviews, document productions, and trial preparation; and assisting arbitration hearings and trials.

Sandy has been assisting at trials before the U.S. District Court for the Eastern and Western Districts, Oakland, Wayne, and Washtenaw County Circuit Courts, and before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the National Labor Relations Board, both locally and nationally. Additionally, she has assisted in appeal proceedings and assisted at oral arguments before the U.S. District Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit and the U.S. District Court.

Other areas in which Sandy provides support include drafting handbooks and employment applications, drafting minutes at collective bargaining sessions, preparing proposals and finalizing agreements, and assisting with firm seminars, client training sessions, affirmative action plans, and electronic filings.
