Business Law Section's "Business Boot Camp" Recognized by Association for Excellence

Clark Hill Attorney Daniel H. Minkus Co-Founder of Program

BIRMINGHAM, MI —The State Bar of Michigan Business Law Section’s “Business Boot Camp” program was awarded the “Outstanding Achievement Award” for seminars from the Association for Continuing Legal Education (ACLEA).  Clark Hill Attorney Daniel H. Minkus is a co-founder of the program. 

“I am very pleased to be associated with such a fine program and one which allows so many young attorneys to benefit,”  Minkus said.

Minkus and his team developed the Boot Camp as a response to the need for a comprehensive training program for associate attorneys at large firms. Minkus is the Co-Director of Training for the Business Boot Camp – a joint initiative between the Institute for Continuing Legal Education (ICLE) and the State Bar’s Business Law Section.  

Minkus works out of Clark Hill’s Birmingham office where he is a member of the firm’s Executive Committee. Minkus practices in the  Business Practice Group, where he focuses on business and real estate, including mergers and acquisitions, securities, and tax exempt organizations.
 
Minkus is very active in civic affairs and the community, serving as chairman for the eighteenth year on the Board of Directors of the Michigan Humane Society as well as serving as a coach for youth soccer over the past seven years. Minkus’ notable contributions to the community in the past have been serving as the former State Sports Director for Michigan Special Olympics, in addition to being a past member of the Board of Directors of Leadership Oakland. 

He received his B.A. from Kalamazoo College and his J.D. from Wayne State University School of Law.  He is a resident of Farmington Hills, Michigan.
