Remediations & Natural Resource Restoration

Clark Hill’s EENR team brings many years of experience with the government and in the private sector when handling environmental remediations under the Comprehensive Environmental Restoration and Liability Act (“CERCLA” or “Superfund”) as well as major natural resource restorations such as the Everglades and the Louisiana Coastal Restorations. They have represented numerous potentially responsible parties in CERCLA cost recovery actions and natural resource damages cases. They represent clients in complex cleanups at sites around the country involving groundwater, surface water, air and soil contaminations from both conventional hazardous pollutants and nuclear materials released to the environment. Their backgrounds allow them to understand the technical, legal, political, and public interest issues that arise at every major remediation site and assist the client in reaching a resolution.

Nearly every contaminated site has the added potential for natural resource damages. Our team is experience in handling endangered species issues, ground and surface water contamination, and other natural resource requirements that add to the complication of remedial efforts.
