We defend employers in employment litigation including discrimination, harassment, breach of express and implied contract, Family Medical Leave Act, public policy discharge, retaliation, whistleblower acts, defamation, wage and hour class actions, interference with a contract, misrepresentation, fraud, invasion of privacy and covenants not to compete. In the area of traditional labor law, we possess some of the leading traditional labor lawyers in the region. We advised clients during union organizing drives. Our attorneys act as chief negotiators during first and renewal collective bargaining agreements. We advise clients on the daily administration of collective bargaining agreements and represent clients at arbitration hearings.
Our attorneys appear in various administrative tribunals including the National Labor Relations Board, the Michigan Employment Relations Commission, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Michigan Department of Civil Rights, various state and federal departments of labor, and other states’ or municipalities’ civil rights agencies.
