Jennifer Woods is an associate with Clark Hill’s Intellectual Property Group.
Jen concentrates her practice in the area of intellectual property, including trademarks, copyrights, trade secrets, unfair competition, and intellectual property-related antitrust counseling. She has been involved in litigating a variety of intellectual property-related matters, including copyright and trademark infringement, copyright misuse, trade secret misappropriation, unfair competition, and false advertising. She also regularly handles trademark prosecution matters, including opposition and cancellation proceedings before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board.
Jen also advises businesses on issues related to online privacy, data protection, and breach notification. Jen co-authored an article in the Westlaw Journal Computer & Internet titled “The FTC and Mobile Security.” The article analyzed the Federal Trade Commission’s report on privacy and explained the key points for industry stakeholders.
Jen obtained her law degree from the Loyola University Chicago School of Law, where she was a Student Fellow with the Institute for Consumer Antitrust Studies and Articles Editor for the Loyola Consumer Law Review. During law school, Jennifer authored articles in the European Journal World Competition (co-authored with Spencer Weber Waller) and Loyola Consumer Law Review.
Jen has been a coach of the ABA Negotiation Team at the Loyola University Chicago School of Law since 2011.
