Jeff Van Winkle represents businesses and entrepreneurs actively seeking to create or provide exceptional services or products. In today’s business and legal marketplace, he coordinates and leads exceptional attorneys and other professionals to provide the resources his clients require. Jeff directly provides general counsel services, public and private company securities compliance counseling, privacy law guidance and transactional legal services to clients throughout the Midwest.

Jeff and the team he leads assist clients with a range of legal services that have been developed to meet current business needs. His clients are active in various industries, including manufacturing, distribution, entertainment and financing. Jeff and the Clark Hill team seamlessly support businesses with business activities throughout the United States and other parts of the world.

Jeff also leads the Corporate Practice Group in addition to the direct client services he provides. From this perspective, Jeff diligently works to provide the precise services and resources each client requires. The Corporate Practice Group is comprised of attorneys focused on transactions representing large and small businesses in all aspects of business life.

Each client benefits from Jeff's extensive experience that also includes community and service organization involvement. His activities include current service as Treasurer and Council Members of the Business Law Section of the State Bar of Michigan, Treasurer of the National Small Business Association and Secretary of Guiding Light Mission, a substance abuse recovery program. Jeff’s prior activities include serving as President of the Oakdale Christian School board, extensive service as an officer and board member for the Land Conservancy of West Michigan, board member and Chairperson of the Small Business Association of Michigan, chairperson of Leadership Grand Rapids for two years. Jeff also served as the local chairperson for the national conference for the Community Leadership Association.

In addition to other duties, Jeff actively supports the global services that Clark Hill offers its clients. Clark Hill is part of an international network of law firms in order to more effectively support the global activities of its clients. Jeff is often the first stop for clients seeking to actively engage in international trade activities.

Jeff earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Calvin College in 1982 and his law degree from the University of Michigan Law School in 1987.
