Daniel J. Dulworth specializes in legal counseling, negotiation, and litigation, including handling significant commercial, general business, health-care and employment disputes in state and federal trial and appellate courts, commercial arbitration forums, and administrative agencies.

While Dan has over twenty-two years of experience representing clients in diverse corporate industries, including automotive, defense, manufacturing, healthcare, banking, telecommunications, construction, and insurance, he has for the past decade primarily focused on representing companies in the automotive and healthcare industries.

Dan is co-chair of the Automotive Practice Group. He represents automotive and defense industry original equipment manufacturers and suppliers of all sizes in situations ranging from distressed supplier to product recall and warranty. He has successfully litigated complex commercial disputes at all levels of federal and state courts and works with companies in identifying, predicting, and protecting their businesses from unnecessary risk and exposure.

Dan also advises and litigates on behalf of hospitals, physician groups and other healthcare entities, including medical malpractice defense and commercial disputes. His experience includes the successful defense of hospitals, physicians and nurses in jury trials, arbitrations and appellate courts.

Dan is an active member of the American Bar Association, Defense Research Institute, Michigan Defense Trial Counsel, State Bar of Michigan, and Detroit Metropolitan Bar Association. He is a past Director of the Detroit Metropolitan Bar Association and past Trustee of the Detroit Metropolitan Bar Association Foundation. He is listed in DBusiness Top Lawyers in Metro Detroit in 2009 and 2010.

Dan also serves on the Board of Directors of Boys Hope Girls Hope of Detroit.

Dan is a graduate of Michigan State University and the University of Detroit School of Law.
